Casting a Wider Net for
Environmental Education
A. EARLY BIRD DEADLINE UPDATE
In
response to the disruptions to business and to families caused by recent
Hurricane activity, NAAEE has decided to extend the Early Bird deadline to
October 7, 2004. NAAEE would like to
assure everyone that the conference site was NOT affected by the hurricane.
"We feel very fortunate indeed that we have averted a disaster", said
Abby Ruskey, NAAEE President.
Presenters – please note that you MUST register by the Early Bird Deadline.

CONFERENCE SITE LOCATION CLARIFICATION
To
clarify, the 2004 Annual Conference will be held at the Biloxi Bayview Hotel
itself.
The
hotel complex also includes a conference center and ample space for breakout
sessions.

Conference
T-shirts featuring our beautiful Conference logo -- the Gopher Turtle, native
to the Gulf Coast -- are now on sale at a special pre-order price of $12.00 for
pick up at conference site. Why not pick up a couple of extra T-shirts for your
children or other favorite people in your life this Christmas and celebrate knowing that your purchase will
help a deserving college student to participate in our conference next year? Youth and Adult sizes are available. Please
place your order online. You can add your order even if you have already
registered. Purchases on-site will be $15.00 per T-shirt. Not attending the
conference? We will be happy to ship the T-shirt for only $16.00 (total).
D. EE RESEARCH SYMPOSIUM - $65
discount for students
All
full time college students are entitled to a $65 discount in the EE Research
Symposium registration fees. Those who have already signed up will be refunded.
NAAEE apologizes for the oversight on the registration process. Kindly allow
NAAEE 2 weeks to process refunds.
E. EXHIBITOR DISCOUNT - $50 discount
Exhibitors
can now register online with the $50 discount taken off for one representative
also registering to attend the Full Conference.
