Biloxi, Mississippi
November 6-10, 2004
Casting a Wider Net for Environmental Education
Scholarship Opportunities
This year, NAAEE will be in the position to offer a limited number of scholarships to pre K-12 classroom teachers, graduate students and minority educators. As might be expected, more requests are received than can be possibly funded, but we encourage you to apply.

NAAEE scholarship applications are now being accepted for three categories:

a. Diversity Scholarship -- to assist individuals representing minority groups from urban areas. Deadline has passed.

b. College Students Scholarship -- to support deserving full time junior, senior (3rd or 4th year student), or graduate students with commitment to environmental education. Deadline has passed.

c. Mississippi Educator Scholarship [doc] [pdf] -- to recognize Mississippi teachers that excel in the classroom and to MS environmental educators that are in need of financial assistance, valued at $330.00. Deadline for MS Teacher Scholarships extended to Oct 29 or until all available scholarships have been awarded on a first come first served basis (whichever comes first). Non-formal educators are welcome to apply.

All partial scholarships cover full conference registration and the appropriate annual NAAEE membership dues.

Deadline for Applications is October 15, 2004 and notification is October 30, 2004.
