Guidelines for Excellence in Nonformal EE Program Development and Implementation June 2003 Draft available in [html] or [pdf] format. NAAEE and EETAP are in the process of writing the fourth document in the Guidelines for Excellence in Environmental Education series. When completed, this set of guidelines will help non-formal environmental educators develop and implement quality programs. You are invited to review this final draft and provide comments using the. Your feedback is important to the process. Thus far, over 300 individuals have provided valuable input to the development of these guidelines.

We are looking for good examples of the key characteristics presented in this document. If you feel your EE program could be used as an example, please describe it briefly under the appropriate section of the comment form. In particular, we are looking for examples of community-wide EE programs, comprehensive program evaluations, and EE programs geared toward adults.

When fully developed, the guidelines will include an introduction, a set of key characteristics for quality environmental education program development and implementation, examples, references, and a glossary of terms.

Please review the final draft and submit your comments by August 8, 2003 using the online form.
