Senior Administrative Assistant


Briggs is NAAEE's Senior Administrative Assistant, responsible for supporting the Executive Director, Director of Operations, and other staff in executing NAAEE's portfolio of programs. In his career as a nonprofit communications and operations staffer, he has developed a keen interest in the intersection of environmental advocacy and liberal democracy, and his past research has focused on the history of environmental activism in closed societies. Briggs attended Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, where he graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts majoring in History and double-minoring in Public Service and Security Studies. Prior to completing his degree, Briggs served for four semesters as a Student Fellow at the Wilson Center for Leadership in the Public Interest.
