Promoting Professional Development and Best Practice in EE
NAAEE 2020—We’re going virtual!
49th Annual Conference: October 13–16
17th Annual Research Symposium: October 8–10
In today's challenging climate, the focus of our 2020 Conference and Research Symposium is positive change. We will explore the ways in which environmental education informs and inspires, and how it can advance equity and inclusion, build human capacity, influence attitudes, and galvanize actions to ensure equal access to nature, and to create healthier communities and a healthier environment for all.
To protect the health and safety of our attendees, volunteers, and staff, our 49th Annual Conference and Research Symposium will be held online. We look forward to welcoming an even broader diversity of participants from around the world than could have participated in person.
As we develop this new format, we promise the rich variety of sessions that is always a part of our conference, as well as great opportunities for networking, creativity, innovation, growth, and change. Stay tuned for more details!
Please note: Because of the transition to an online conference, the results of the proposal review process will take a little longer than originally anticipated. We will notify all who submitted proposals for the Annual Conference and Research Symposium in early August. Thanks for your patience.
We thank the Arizona Association for Environmental Education and our other wonderful partners in Tucson, Arizona, where we had planned to gather this year. The good news is that we will be heading to Tucson in 2022, after celebrating our 50th anniversary in Pittsburgh in 2021!
