Fourth Annual UL Innovative Education Award application now open!

UL, a global safety science leader, in collaboration with NAAEE, founded the ULIEA program in 2015 to invest in and support youth engagement in local and environmental issues, while encouraging youth interest in engineering, technology, science, and mathematics. Since 2015, the ULIEA program has awarded $750,000 ($250,000 per year) to non-profit organizations. 

Eligible organizations must apply by February 21, 2018. Upon submission, a panel of environmental, science, research, and technical experts will determine one grand-prize winner to receive $100,000; two second-tier winners to receive $50,000 each; and two third-tier winners to receive $25,000 each. Winners will be announced in August 2018.
