I wonder if anyone else saw this a few months ago? I'm working on an RCR training at Duke along this theme of diversity within scholarly work and came across it. We want to get across to graduate students the importance of being deliberate in whose work you're reading or citing: what identities are or aren't represented? Why might they not be represented? Why is this important? What can you do about it?

Anyways, I'm curious if anyone is aware of demographics (gender and race/ethnicity) being asked in popular EE journals, or thoughts on that practice?
