It is important to celebrate our successes, big and small, with colleagues. It is also really important to share our failures, or research ideas that didn't work or couldn't be published, so that colleagues can learn from mistakes and missteps.

Idea from Nicole: celebrate successes online, and even have it as a scrolling banner on the right or bottom where it comes across with balloons and hats. "Ruth Kermish-Allen successfully defended her PhD dissertation. Congratulations Dr. Kermish-Allen!"
