Anza-Borrego Foundation (ABF) is now accepting applications for the Education Manager position in Borrego Springs, California—in the heart of Anza-Borrego Desert State Park. Join an enthusiastic and motivated team that is passionate about the conservation of public lands in a small community surrounded by the expansive landscape of California’s largest state park.

The Education Manager is responsible for development and general coordination of ABF’s adult education programs and fifth grade environmental education program. This leader in place-based learning will work to successfully collaborate with our park partners to build our fee-for-service and grant funded programs. The Education Manager will manage ABF education programs including scheduling, implementation, conducting assessments, and volunteer training and coordination.

Education and/or Experience: At least four years related professional experience; degree in environmental education or similar. Community outreach experience is required. Experience working with nonprofit organizations and volunteers is preferred. Experience working with people of all ages and abilities and demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with the public.
