Nature of Work:
The Environmental Education Specialist is a professional level position responsible for the implementation of the education, public participation, public outreach and training components of the City's Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) Phase II Permit. The Environmental Education Specialist is responsible for providing a range of program services necessary to achieve and maintain MS4 Permit compliance as well as other duties as assigned or necessary in support of the Water Resources Group.
A Bachelor's degree in education, communication, or an academic field related to natural resources, water resources, environmental science or watershed management and an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job may also be considered. A valid driver's license is also needed

Starting salary $57,319.00 to $67,433.00 annually depending on qualifications, with advancement to $80,920.00
