Join our Fall 2017 team of program instructors!

Instructors teach classes during the week for our Environmental Education Center, which sees over 14,000 school children each year. Our curriculum of 24 classes range in topics from aquatic, forest, and wildlife ecology to astronomy, pioneer study, canoeing, and high/low ropes. Two evenings a week, instructors lead meals and evening programs.  Additionally, instructors work one weekend a month.

Compensation includes $262/week, staff housing, meals, free internet, complimentary Charlotte YMCA membership, and a staff training period that offers CPR, first aid, and lifeguard certification.

Applicants must possess a BS/BA in environmental education, biology, education, outdoor education, or related field, or equivalent experience.
