Responsibilities: Primary duties include implementation of experiential, place-based 4-H programming for Cornell Cooperative Extension’s Farm Day Camp and Afterschool Programs, supervision of camp staff, and marketing and recruiting for both programs at the Extension Learning Farm, a 400 acre facility with commercial sheep herd, operating sugar bush and season-extension vegetable production.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Child Development, Elementary Education, Physical Education, Recreation or a related field, OR equivalent education (Associate’s Degree and 2 years transferrable program/functional experience). Applicants must possess relevant experience working with youth under the age of 13. Experiential education or agricultural education experience preferred.
Compensation: $15.50 - $17.42 per hour, commensurate with experience, 40 hour work week, full benefits.
