Job Description:

As a uniformed employee of the National Park Service (NPS), the incumbent serves as a front-line representative of the agency. The incumbent will design and present established formal and informal interpretive programs that facilitate connections between visitors and resource meanings.  Additional responsibilities may include performing roving assignments, providing orientation and information at visitor centers, and completing assigned tasks and projects that support district operations. Duties may be performed on or offsite at locations designated by the park (i.e., trails, campgrounds, visitor centers). Employee may be required to administer first aid or CPR. If necessary, this announcement may also be used to fill a position that assists with the education program.

Uniform: NPS uniform. Stipend provided to defer the cost of uniform items.

Transportation: Transportation provided for job-related duties. Personal transportation required to reach duty station.
