Tiny Green Trees is seeking a full time Lead Caregiver for young children in a mixed age suite.
Our staff at Tiny Green Trees is diligent in providing a loving, “home-like”, consistent, positive, caring environment to a mixed-age group of children (6-weeks to 6-years), including extensive time outdoors, a strong daily and weekly rhythm, and inspiration from Waldorf, Montessori and Reggio philosophies.
As Lead Caregiver you will initiate, develop and organize developmentally appropriate activities with the Director, develop parental rapport, help offer seasonal family events, and ensure the safety of the children at all times.
The ideal candidate will have a background in childcare, strong preference for Waldorf, Lifeways, Montessori or Reggio applicants. We hope to find someone with Registry credentials as well. Most importantly we are looking for a gentle caregiver willing to have an open heart and mind to share the joy of the natural world with the children.
This is an immediate full time position with a schedule of Monday through Thursday 7am to 5pm with Fridays off. We will have an additional lead teacher position opening Mid-November with the schedule of Monday through Friday 7:30am to 2:30pm. Please indicate which you prefer.
As a small center we cannot offer health/wellness benefits at this time.
Hourly pay is based on experience and certification. Starting pay ranges from $10-12 with room to grow.
