Lead Nature-Based Preschool Teacher

Drumlin Farm Community Preschool seeks dynamic, energetic part-time lead teacher (10-12hours/week) to teach hands-on farm/nature emergent curriculum with a multi-disciplinary focus, to preschoolers on a working farm and sanctuary. Individual will work with the director to implement, develop and oversee the preschool program in accordance with Mass Audubon’s goals and objectives, as well as MA state regulations.
Wednesdays and Fridays (8am-1pm) with the potential for more hours.
Qualifications: EEC Lead Teacher certification required, BA degree in Early Childhood Education or relevant field, and at least 5 years of experience working with preschool age children required. Experience in curriculum development, implementation and evaluation of programs desired. Teacher must possess a love of nature and teaching outdoors, along with an eagerness to learn how to work with animals (both farm animals and wildlife) within an educational setting for children and families. Strong communication and collaboration skills a must.
