The person will be responsible for all aspects of citizen science programming, event planning, and general marketing for the BI. He/she will also manage all aspects of running the interdisciplinary PhD Program in Ecology, including proposal writing, admissions coordination, program outreach and marketing, and student tracking.
Desired qualifications: bachelor's degree and one year work experience in a related field; exceptional written and oral communication skills; ability to work independently and in collaboration with teams; experience in organizing, fundraising for, running, and evaluating citizen science programs; experience in organizing, marketing for, hosting, and evaluating small and large public events; and willingness/ability to host events on evenings and weekends.
Additional qualifications: experience with business management, fundraising from diverse sources, accounting, marketing techniques, and supervision of interns.
