Job Description:
We welcome applications for the position of teacher. As a nature-based school, living in and loving the out-of-doors is a must! Each teacher will work with a small learning group of children as well as working collaboratively as part of a larger teaching team as we grow inside...and out. In addition, teachers will collaborate with volunteers, community members, as well as other educational professionals.
Qualifications:
NH Child Care Lead Teacher certification.
BA degree in Early Childhood Education or relevant field preferred including 18 credits in child development, early childhood or elementary education, or other field of study focused on children from an accredited university with 3 credits in child growth and development OR
A credential from a teacher preparation program accredited by MACTE OR
Documentation from or on file with the department that she or he was qualified for and employed in the position of lead teacher on or before 2017
Experience in emergent curriculum development and documentation desired
Experience with Reggio Emilia Approach (REA) desired.
Teacher must possess a love of nature and teaching outdoors
Strong communication, writing and collaboration skills a must.
Successful candidates must pass a background records check (CORI, DCF and Fingerprinting)
