Do you have a passion for working with teachers and sharing nature with school children? The Audubon Naturalist Society seeks a highly motivated and detail-oriented School Programs Manager to lead us in providing nature-based environmental education to school children in the DC metro area. Our school programs encompass field trip visits to our headquarters, the 40-acre historic Woodend Sanctuary in Chevy Chase, Maryland, as well as naturalist visits to classrooms and schoolyards in Maryland, Virginia, and DC, including our award-winning GreenKids program. We are looking for a very special individual with exceptional teaching and organizational skills, love of nature and the outdoors, a passion for customer service, and a commitment to reaching diverse audiences of children and teachers. This a full-time job with benefits and an annual salary starting between $35,000-40,000. Applicant must have experience in management and teaching and must be very comfortable working with both teachers outdoors and sharing nature with children of all ages.
