12 week summer intern position. The workweek is Tuesday - Saturday. Start date negotiable.
Qualifications: Minimum one to two years, preferred four years, college study or interest in natural resources, biology, or environmental education. Must have good written and oral communication skills and a willingness to work flexible hours.
Job description: Welcome visitors; feed and handle critters; present radio programs; coordinate youth mentorship program, participate in major events such as the summer Water Festival, Thursday Nature Play activities, rent canoes and kayaks and help teach summer adventure programs.
Benefits: 40 hours per week at $9.65 an hour.
