Job Description:

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Education, Biology, or related field
  • At least one year of experience as a naturalist, teacher or environmental educator
  • Good communication skills with the general public, small children, and colleague
  • Willingness to work with captive wild animals, especially birds of prey
  • Ability to work independently and with other staff members
  • Must be willing to work a flexible schedule of up to 20 hours/week including weekends and evenings/overnights
  • Must hold a valid MA driver‘s license
  • Currently certified in First Aid and CPR
  • Must be able to hike on uneven terrain, maintain a strong walking pace, assess the safety of   situations by sight and sound and take appropriate action
  • Must pass a background records check (CORI, SORI and driving record)
     

Compensation and Benefits:

Rate of Pay: $12.00/hour
