The purpose of this position is to perform process duties related to promoting environmental awareness and consciousness of water resources, water conservation, recycling, pollution, and water quality and streams within the geographical boundaries of Fulton County, including conducting educational classes, workshops, and community outreach programs; developing informational materials; researching environmental trends and issues; and preparing technical reports.

KAEE is seeking an enthusiastic individual with a passion for our mission to work with Lexington-Fayette County Government’s Department of Environmental Quality (LFUCG) and Public Works (EQPW) to coordinate their K-12 environmental education program. The position will work closely with LFUCG, KAEE and other contract educators and will be based in the EQPW office in Lexington, KY.
