The SAC Manager is responsible for recruiting, enrolling, training, and supporting OST programs to implement SAC in 400+ communities nationwide. The Education Lead will design and facilitate learning experiences that foster scientific and environmental literacy, inspire conservation action, and promote awareness among youth about potential careers in STEM fields. The Education Lead will teach, train, mentor, and supervise youth across all Academy programs, and provide workforce development training for interns and teen volunteers. This is a 30 hour/week position.
The SAC Instructional Designer at the California Academy of Sciences will play a key role in the design and production of digital and printed resources for STEM learning in out-of-school time. This includes building blended and virtual trainings for afterschool and summer camp educators, and creating and enhancing environmental science activities for middle school youth.
