The Manager is responsible for creating and managing NCI’s Adult and Family Programs (AdFam) suite of outdoor education programs that serve people of all ages; children, families and adults, throughout the year. The work location is at the North Cascades Environmental Learning Center on Diablo Lake.

North Cascades Institute seeks a qualified, enthusiastic professional Food Services Manager to lead our Kitchen Team. Based out of the Institute’s field campus in North Cascades National Park, this position supports food services at the North Cascades Environmental Learning Center, which serves up to 80 children and/or adults per day on a five to seven-day-a-week schedule. This position works closely with many Institute staff, partners and contractors to support a wide array of programs.

Based out of the North Cascades Environmental Learning Center in North Cascades National Park, the Program Instructor position functions as a professional member of our instructional team. This position primarily supports the Mountain School program in the fall and assists with other Institute programming throughout the 4-month Fall season. The ideal candidate is a creative, energetic, professional, motivated, cooperative team player willing to work hard, have fun and make a difference.

NCI seeks a qualified, enthusiastic professional to become a member of our Operations team based at our Environmental Learning Center (Diablo Lake). The wage is $15.00-$16.00 per hour and benefits include sick leave and holiday pay. The duration June 1, 2022 - December 15, 2022. There is a possibility of returning to the position each year based on interest, experience, and program need. The work week for this position is Wednesday-Sunday (40 hours per week) with Mondays and Tuesdays off.

North Cascades Institute is seeking a qualified, enthusiastic individual to join our retail team. This is a seasonal/temporary, non-exempt position; full-time from Start Date to Labor day; part-time for the rest of September with four paid Holidays included. The position is based out of the Newhalem North Cascades National Park Visitor Center along with a limited role at the Marblemount Wilderness Information Center. Wage is $14.50-$15.00 per hour. Benefits include sick leave and holiday pay.

Based out of the North Cascades Environmental Learning Center in North Cascades National Park, the Program Instructor position functions as a member of the North Cascades Institute’s program instructional team. This is a temporary/seasonal, full-time, non-exempt position, eligible for overtime pay. The wage is $15.50-15.75 per hour. The position duration is June 6 - September 5, 2022. There are 5 Adult and Family Program Instructor positions available.

The Skagit Tours Instructor will be based at both the Environmental Learning Center (ELC) on Diablo Lake and Skagit Information Center in Newhalem. This is a paid, full-time, seasonal position running from June 6 - September 30, 2022. Skagit Tours Instructors should expect to work five days (approximately 40 hours) each week. The North Cascades Institute is seeking an Office Assistant based out of the Environmental Learning Center on Diablo Lake (WA). This is a seasonal/temporary, full-time, non-exempt position.

The Grants Manager increases the capacity of North Cascades Institute by managing foundation, corporate and government grants. This is a regular, full-time position primarily located at the Institute’s Sedro-Woolley office (with work-from-home options). The salary range is $46,000 to $53,000 annually based on level of experience. START DATE: April 15, 2022 or sooner
