Join Earth Force to learn how to incorporate civic experiences into your education programming. This three-day conference at the Stroud Water Resource Center in Avondale, PA (July 29-31) provides hands-on training in action civics and environmental learning. Participants will gain skills in project-based learning, create a strong peer network, and learn from a variety of great guest speakers.

Learn how to create fun, engaging activities in your classroom to foster youth voice and civic engagement. Dr. Rowe, the President of the U.S. Partnership for Education for Sustainable Development, will help you teach about green energy and climate change in the classroom and empower students to take actions to protect the environment and create a better society.
This position is responsible for supporting Earth Force local community partners in delivering programs across the U.S. and Canada in coordination with our partners at General Motors and a large network of nonprofit organizations. This includes identifying and building partnerships with organizations across the country and providing professional development and program support in a blended learning setting.
Earth Force engages young people as active citizens who improve the environment and their communities now and in the future. The Program Coordinator is an educator who recognizes the importance of community partnerships, civic skills, environmental stewardship, and youth voice as essential elements of developing an environmentally aware and civically engaged person.
Who: An experienced educator and educator trainer who believes in community partnerships, service-learning, environmental stewardship, and student voice as essential elements of developing an environmentally aware and civically engaged person.
What: Recruit, train, and support Earth Force’s partners, in the roles of consultant, collaborator, coach, and evaluator, to use the Community Action and Problem Solving Process through in-person and virtual training events.
