This online professional learning session is part of the Smithsonian's National Education Summit, happening virtually July 27–28. Smithsonian staff will co-present with teachers from the Chesapeake Math/IT Academy to spotlight a collaboration to empower teens to lead environmental action projects at their school. The session will show how schools and museums, as formal and informal learning spaces, powerfully complement one another to engage students in environmental action.
