Currently there are approximately 200,000 of Florida’s youth involved in 4-H programs, including residential camping. Florida 4-H is home to three residential camping centers- Timpoochee, Cherry Lake, and Cloverleaf. This position will provide leadership for the Florida 4-H camping program including supervising our resident directors. This position will also develop a comprehensive year round Environmental Education program for our centers.

This is a 12-month non-tenure-accruing position that will be 100% teaching (College of Agricultural and Life Sciences), 0% research (Florida Agricultural Experiment Station) and 0% extension (Florida Cooperative Extension Service), available in the School of Forest Resources and Conservation, Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences, at the University of Florida.

The School of Natural Resources and Environment at the University of Florida is hiring for a full-time Lecturer. The successful candidate will serve as the lead instructor for a General Education course in Environmental Science (multiple sections) as well as a foundational course for Environmental Science majors.
