This one-pager recommends practices for environmental educators who provide professional development for K-12 teachers based on a survey conducted by the Wisconsin K-12 Energy Education Program (KEEP) of their workshop participants. The trends uncovered from this survey in early 2020 are even more relevant during the current challenges associated with distance learning.
KEEP is offering “Energy Education in the Classroom” courses for $100 (with a scholarship). Educators of all grade levels and subject areas encouraged to attend! KEEP is a program of the Wisconsin Center for Environmental Education (WCEE). The WCEE offers environmental education courses that qualify for Wisconsin continuing education credits including these KEEP energy education courses.
