Climate Generation is teaming up with some fantastic partners from NOAA's Climate Office and the Wild Center's Youth Climate Program to put on a virtual professional development training; the 17th Annual Summer Institute for Climate Change Education!

Based at The Wild Center , a natural history museum in New York’s Adirondack Park, the Youth Climate Program (YCP) is a global initiative that empowers students to develop and implement climate action plans in their schools and communities. The YCP seeks a highly motivated Climate Communications Fellow to support the Program’s communications, virtual event support, and assist with a climate solutions exhibition. Positions runs from mid-May to mid-December and is based in Tupper Lake, New York.
Climate Generation, The Wild Center's Youth Climate Program, and NOAA's Climate Program have teamed up to offer a virtual Stay-In-stitute for Climate Change Education this July 22-24. Educators from all backgrounds and subjects are invited to attend and learn tools, skills, and resources to teach climate change.

This position is based at The Wild Center, a science museum in Tupper Lake, NY. The Wild Center's Youth Climate Program works globally to empower young people to design and implement climate action plans in their schools and communities. The Youth Leadership Coordinator will coordinate all youth-driven activities, including the 11th annual Adirondack Youth Climate Summit, leadership retreats, student trips, and supporting student-led climate action plans.
