EENC grew from the desire of environmental educators across North Carolina to meet and share their experiences, aspirations, and tools. The Program Coordinator will serve part-time, approximately 20 hours per week, to increase EENC’s capacity to provide professional development programming for environmental educators across the state. This position is for a one-year term, with the opportunity to extend. The employee will work remotely within North Carolina. Travel is required.

Are you a pro at designing online professional development workshops in Moodle or another learning management system? If so, we might have a gig for you! EENC is seeking a remote contractor to design a 6-hour, asynchronous virtual workshop that will enable educators who are unable to attend in-person workshops to gain the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to use the Don’t Waste It! materials with their K-12 students in a fun and engaging way. Timeframe: June-October 2021.
