The Inclusiveness Assistant and NKJN Community Liaison supports Thorne’s Curriculum and Inclusiveness Manager in the implementation of Thorne’s Inclusiveness Plan and Latino Family Engagement Plan and assists with marketing and outreach for NKJN and removing barriers to participation in NKJN for underserved Lafayette youth and their families. This position could include any combination of the below responsibilities depending on the skills, abilities, and time available of the chosen candidate(s)

The School Programs Manager supervises Thorne educators and manages partnerships with schools, including the coordination of Thorne’s In-School, After-School Programs, and the summer camp school scholarship program (for 9 partnering Nature Immersion Program schools). The School Programs Manager will also act as an Instructor for Thorne’s programs: In-School, Afterschool, Field Trip, and Summer Camp.

Thorne Summer Camp is a day camp that has been connecting youth to nature since 1957! Each summer, Thorne offers more than 150 “Camp Experiences” for youth ages 3-15. Thorne’s “Camp Experiences” allow youth to explore in nature and offer just the right mix of fun and hands-on learning. Dates: Week long day camps run from May 29, 2018 through August 10, 2018. Training in mid-May. Locations: We have camps in Boulder, Louisville, Littleton, and Longmont.
