Emerging Leaders Program at the BEETLES Leadership Institute (August 11-Emerging Leaders will attend a BEETLES Leadership Institute alongside current organization leaders from EE and outdoor science organizations nationwide, all working to build individual and organizational capacity to increase diversity in leadership roles in the field of environmental education. Applications are due by April 22, 2019. The Institute will be held August 11-16 near Portola, CA.

From August 12th-17th, 2018 in Portola, CA, leaders from 20 outdoor environmental education programs will gather to engage in stimulating conversations, build leadership expertise, share wisdom across a variety of programs, and experience research-based resources for professional learning and student activities, all free of charge (including a travel stipend). BEETLES is devoted to infusing outdoor science programs with research-based approaches and tools to improve science teaching and learning.
