The Education Department at Stroud Water Research Center is seeking a highly skilled educator to implement grants and other projects and to lead education programs for a wide range of audiences. Projects include creating education curricula, developing and leading training programs, developing use of educational technologies, and conducting other outreach to communicate the broader impacts of our education, freshwater science, and watershed restoration activities to expanding audiences.

This Environmental Educator Internship at the Stroud Water Research Center in PA is a 16 week internship this spring Feb-May. The position is perfect for a recent or December grad. We are particularly looking for someone that has experience and interest in teaching stream study programs and assisting with water science grant work.

The application period for summer 2016 Critical Zone research experience for undergraduates and teachers is now open. National Science Foundation Research Experiences for Teachers (RET) and Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) programs aim to actively involve K-12 science educators and undergraduate students in meaningful, ongoing research projects. Experiences are based at Penn State and the Stroud Water Research Center.
