The NYU Wallerstein Collaborative for Urban Environmental Education is seeking a part time environmental educator to work on Bees Alive!; our new pollinator education and civic ecology initiative in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. This initiative will engage teachers, K-12 students and community members in creating and maintaining pollinator habitats, while engaging in outdoor education and citizen science.
The NYU Wallerstein Collaborative for Urban Environmental Education is seeking a part-time stewardship educator to work on River Works; our newest initiative to work with schools and local community members to revitalize North Shore parks of Staten Island through education and stewardship activities. The focus will be on urban ecology and the Hudson River Estuary.
Duration: September 2018 - June 2019 - 20 hours per week
The NYU Wallerstein Collaborative for Urban Environmental Education is looking for a part-time stewardship and environmental educator to work on our newest project, River Works. The educator will conduct hands-on stewardship events with schools and volunteers in parks along the north shore of Staten Island, NY. They will also assist the Wallerstein staff in developing a city-wide stewardship curriculum centered on the Hudson River Estuary.
