The American Bald Eagle Foundation in stunning Haines, seeks our next Executive Director. The ED leads the ABEF toward its education and conservation mission and manages a facility with a large influx of tourists during summer. The intern will assist staff with raptor husbandry & training, community collaboration and outreach, interpretive programming, museum upkeep, event planning and site maintenance.
Interns will work between 3-6 months as wildlife conservation educators. This includes learning about the flora and fauna of Southeast Alaska and giving presentations to guests.
Additionally, interns will be working in our raptor center working with our 12 avian ambassadors in husbandry, handling, enrichment and daily care.
