Human development refers to developmental outcomes that occur across the lifespan, including cognition skills and function; motor skills and coordination; social and emotional patterns; leadership skills; environmental identity; and play behaviors or styles. Research focused on developmental outcomes might explore memory retention, creativity, self-esteem, or language development, to name a few.
