NAAEE Announces First Cohort of EE 30 Under 30 Changemaker Grantees
We are pleased to announce our first EE 30 Under 30 Changemaker grantees! Thanks to a new opportunity open to EE 30 Under 30 alumni, thirteen young leaders from eight countries will receive small grants and technical support over the coming year to implement environmental education projects that work to build low-carbon economies, create resilient communities, and protect and restore ecosystems.

Using a Citizen Jury for Rural Climate Dialogues
Rural communities are hard hit by changes in weather and climate, but often left out of climate discussions. The Jefferson Center in St. Paul, MN, used a citizen jury model to create Rural Climate Dialogues, engaging rural residents with the resources and information they need to think critically about community issues and create sustainable solutions. Their recommendations address current community needs, and are presented to local, state, and national policymakers.
