Promoting Professional Development and Best Practice in EE
National Park Service

NAAEE has partnered with the National Park Service to evaluate the diverse array of NGO and governmental nature centers and educational centers—including their educational materials, activity guides, and curricula. This project includes a census of nature centers in the U.S. to provide baseline data about educational efforts, staff, budgets and resources.
The National Park Service preserves natural and cultural resources for the enjoyment, education, and inspiration of this and future generations. The Park Service works with NAAEE and other partners to extend the benefits of natural and cultural resource conservation and outdoor recreation throughout this country and the world.
