EE 30 Under 30 Changemaker Grantees

head shots of 2021 changemaker grantees

Our EE 30 Under 30 Changemaker Grantees are showcasing the power of environmental education to address social and environmental issues, reconnect communities with nature and their land, and build critical skills and environmental literacy in children and adults around the world.

Since 2020, the Changemaker Grants program has provided a number of EE 30 Under 30 alumni with financial and professional development support to bring new transformative ideas to life and sustain their ongoing work. Our grantees receive small grants, training, and a community of support to boost their impact as they implement projects that build low-carbon economies, create resilient communities, and protect and restore ecosystems in communities across six continents.

Their grant projects build on their inspiring leadership addressing a wide range of sustainability issues, including reconnecting indigenous communities to traditional land-based practices, empowering youth to inform national climate policies, creating inclusive and culturally relevant E-STEM education kits for at-home learning, and much more.

Contact Nina Hamilton at nina@naaee.org for more information about the program.
