London (UK) is starting something big. London National Park City is a movement to improve life in London, by making it "greener, healthier and wilder". The idea is to build community in one of the largest cities in Europe, in "celebration of everything that has been done to make London’s landscape, ecology and culture enjoyable". Organizers are calling it "a large-scale and long-term challenge to improve life in the city through many small and achievable actions".
To help answer this challenge, the National Park City Foundation, World Urban Parks and Salzburg Global Seminar have begun an international conversation to develop a Universal Charter of National Park Cities.
Which U.S. city will be the first to join the charter?
