Job Description:
Teaching twenty-one (21) outdoor skills, plan, organize and lead Maine hiking and canoeing camping trips for the Girl Scouts of Maine. Seeking candidates with previous experience leading wilderness trips or student experience with NOLS, Outward Bound, or a similar organization. Current Wilderness First Aid and lifeguarding certifications are required. We can assist in acquiring the necessary certifications. Must be age 21 or older, and have a clean driving record.
The summer season runs from mid –June to the end of August. During August and September, we offer weekend Troop and Family camping opportunities. The employment period varies for staff members, ending August 9 to August 30 depending on staff positions. Additional (optional) staffing opportunities September weekends only.
