Resident Seasonal Educator

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: leading various groups in adventure/nature based activities (i.e. teambuilding activities, low/high rope challenges, interpretive hikes, and ecology based programs), staffing evening programs when needed, program coordination and curriculum development, upkeep of program materials/program areas and assisting with public programs and special events. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Education, Environmental Education, Recreation, Science, or related field preferred. Must be able to work outdoors in all types of weather and lift 50 lbs. Working knowledge of the environment is required. Previous facilitation experience in adventure based (high ropes course/climbing/lifeguarding) and/or environmental based programming as well as working with diverse populations is preferred. CPR, Lifeguard, or Advanced Wilderness Training a plus! Staff will earn $350 for a 40-hour week. Room and meals included.
