In addition to the day-to-day instruction in day and evening programs on beach, forest, pond and wetland ecology, astronomy, birding, herpetology, tracking, and leading team-building challenge courses, the two Senior Naturalists will aid in training, evaluating and mentoring the team of 12 naturalists that live in the staff house with them. Senior Naturalists will also aid Housekeeping staff for one morning each week to help maintain the center. Lead work teams in either herpetarium, aquarium or trail maintenance, and other programs as assigned.
There may be opportunities for weekend work with other programs and guests for additional pay ($20/hr).
Weekly attendance to the staff bible study, prayer and worship meetings is required.
2 years in environmental education or a Masters in Environmental Education
At least a Bachelors in education or biology related fields.
Strong committed christian faith.
Wilderness First Aid
Experience with Citizen Science programs
Pay & Benefits:
$325 / week
