Shipwright Educator: The Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum is seeking an individual with experience in wooden boat building and/or related Career Technology Education (CTE) field. Interest in working with middle school students in a mentorship role required. Preference for experience or interest in any of the following: historic Chesapeake Bay craft, instructional or youth work, sailing, kayaking and/or lifeguarding. Background in environmental or experiential education, arts, or history a plus. Excellent organizational, problem-solving, self-direction and leadership skills are essential. Comfort in the safe use of hand and power tools. Must be able to pass a criminal background check for working with youth and earn CPR/First Aid/AED certification. Evening and weekend hours may be necessary. Full-time position with excellent benefits.
