The King Conservation District’s Request for Proposals (RFP) soliciting a curriculum writer to build a social marketing-based urban shoreline landowner education program is now open. The King Conservation District seeks proposals to develop an urban shorelines adult environmental education curriculum that focuses on learning about and promoting environmental awareness and behavior change related to stewarding streams, wetlands and other shorelines through protection and enhancement practices.
Successful applicants will submit proposals that focus on learning models that appeal to adult and landowner populations, increase literacy, encourage best management practice implementation, develop informed and knowledgeable citizens, and provide them with the skills to protect aquatic areas on their urban properties.
