The purpose of this position is to communicate water and environmentally related content to Water Center visitors and target audiences. Plan and coordinate regular/annual/one-time special events. Promote and schedule field trips to the Water Center and nearby water reclamation treatment plant. Coordinate the selection of and supervise high school and post-secondary students participating as temporary employees in the Water Center's educational internship program. Plan and lead service learning and volunteer projects. Coordinate outreach and educational programs offered by the Water Center and partner organizations, and participate in planning for exhibits, other site improvements and outreach efforts that enhance our educational mission.
