In 2020, seven young people, selected from every global region will be named UN Young Champions of the Earth.
These winners will receive: seed funding and tailored mentorship to bring their big environmental ideas to life. We’re looking for the artists, scientists, economists, communicators and entrepreneurs aged 18 to 30, with big, bold ideas — for our planet, for humanity, for a greener future. Are you one of them? Or do you know someone who could be?
Applicants should be final year undergraduate or master’s degree students in environmental policy, climate change, natural resource management, development, energy efficiency and/or related field of studies. Applicants are not required to have professional work experience for participation in the programme. Excellent writing and communication skills in English and Spanish are required.
