Join Rural Action's Ohio Stream Restore Corps Americorps program for a 12-month position focused on Environmental Education. Three positions are open and we are accepting applications until July 15th. Positions begin in mid-August and last one year, with the option to commit for a second year. Rural Action is a non-profit based in Southeast Ohio (Athens County) that works for social, environmental, and economic justice in the region. The Ohio Stream Restore Corps (OSRC) is a program administered by Rural Action that places 26 AmeriCorps into communities throughout Appalachian Ohio to perform direct service related to watershed restoration, environmental education, eco and heritage tourism, and zero waste. Members are placed into programs of Rural Action and with local partner organizations to better serve the needs of local communities.
