The Hitchcock Center for the Environment is looking for a full time environmental educator to join our innovative and unique education team. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, passionate, and interested in being a part of growing our high quality environmental education programming at our new Living Building.
Supports and assists the center and staff, manages the general office and facility, manages volunteers, and provides general information and assistance to the public. Performs the day-to-day duties of visitor engagement operations to ensure an overall positive, welcoming, enriching, and safe experience to all of our program participants, visitors, and guests. Also helps to provide facility management and oversight to maintain the general appearance and safety of the Center and grounds.
The Communications and Marketing Coordinator is a full-time position reporting to the Director of Development and Communications. The Coordinator is responsible for implementing strategies designed to drive program enrollment and strengthen our relationships with the public and community partners. This includes responsibility for social media, website, outreach, marketing and public relations.
The Education Program Manager is a full-time position at the Hitchcock Center for the Environment, an environmental education center in Amherst, Massachusetts. This position will be responsible for managing the Children Youth and Family, School, Teacher Professional Development and Adult programs. They will be in charge of outreach, marketing, budgets and schedules for these programs. In addition, the EPM will develop, teach and grow the Professional Development programming at the Hitchcock Center.
