Josh leads the education team at the Sustainable Forestry Initiative, advancing Project Learning Tree’s (PLT) environmental education, forest literacy, and career pathways programs while expanding their scale, reach, and impact. In his role, Josh provides insight and direction for PLT’s collaboration within ee360+. As a long-term advocate for overcoming barriers to environmental experiences, he is excited to strengthen relationships with like-minded individuals and organizations through this partnership.

Josh also oversees national program operations and governance, while developing and nurturing relationships at state, national, and global levels. With 25 years of experience in education, Josh has held executive-level positions at national organizations focused on addressing systemic barriers to higher education and experience-based outdoor education . He has also worked as a classroom teacher and public school principal.
