Martin Eugene is a scientific communicator with experience translating local engineering breakthroughs in solid waste disposal and educating community members on the day-to-day operation of potable water systems. He specializes in crafting clear, accessible explanations that make scientific concepts understandable for civilian, public, and private partners, and—his favorite audiences—students. Throughout his career, Martin has collaborated with educators, government leaders, environmental experts, and community organizations on initiatives centered around education, engineering, conservation, and civic engagement. He is especially passionate about work that fosters a broader social understanding of science in everyday life. And as a Floridian, he loves teaching lessons on water ecosystems like in the Everglades and Mangrove Saltwater estuaries.
